For almost 7 years, I was very happy with my home, parents, the kids and other dogs and cats that were my family. They named me Oreo because my black and white coat reminded them of their favorite cookie. Then they lost their jobs and lost our home so they had to bring me here. It was very sad and at first I didn't know what to think and was so alone and afraid. The people here are very nice and now I'm just waiting to find someone who wants to make me part of their family again.
I am still a little shy at first around new people but am getting better every day. I love all my cat friends here in Woodies Wing. It's kind of like home and we can all run around and play together. I love to sit by the windows in the sun and watch the squirrels.
I am a very easy going boy and can entertain myself if my humans aren't around but when you are home, I like to be involved in everything you're doing. I keep waiting for one of the nice people who come here to pick me. I know someone will want me to be their best friend and I hope they find me soon.
