Hi, my name is Marty and I am a Rat Terrier. Through no fault of my own find myself in need of a new home. My foster mom says I am a very good dog. I am 6 years old, weigh about 12 pounds, am neutered and up to date with my shots. I currently live with a cat and a dog and we all get along. I also like the dogs and people that I meet when out in the neighbourhood, but I am not happy if a dog barks a lot in my face - that's not very good manners! I am crate trained but don't need to be crated as I am not destructive when left alone. I love to go for car rides and am well behaved in the car, I just sit and watch the world go by. I LOVE playing with a ball...I chase it all over and carry it around the house in my mouth. I like to be out in the garden where my job is to keep those pesky squirrels out of the yard. My favorite thing is going for walks. Don't let my size fool you, I am small but mighty and can walk over a mile and keep up with my buddy, a Golden Retriever. I am equally happy curling up on the couch with you and watching TV. I am really looking forward to having a home of my own with people that appreciate my many fine qualities.
