Summer is a sweet hound dog looking for a home. She came to us as a stray and had some medical issues with her eyes. Now she has had corrective surgery and is on the mend, but she will need daily eye drops for the rest of her life. She is very social and fairly calm when interacting with people. We're not sure how old she is exactly, but she still has some pep in her step. She loves to play and would appreciate long walks full of sniffing breaks. She's fine around other dogs, alternating between playing with them and ignoring them. She might do well with a family with children or other dogs. If you love hounds, please consider visiting with this lovely lady to see if you hit it off.
