Hi, I'm Hardee. The people here at the shelter say I'm a gentle soul in a tough-looking body - probably because I like to lie around and watch everything pass by. I lived with my old family my entire life, all 7 years, and would still be there but they lost their home and had no choice but to find me a new family to live with. I lived indoors and know all about how to ask to go outside when I need to. I'm no light-weight, tipping the scales at over 98 pounds, but I'm oh so handsome! I'm not one to brag, but I am also extraordinarly smart, which is why I got so depressed when I first got here. Lately, the coaches here have been working with me a lot more, just to change things up, and I love it. I'll never be light on my feet, but I will try any agility obsticle I'm asked to try. A-Frame, Tunnel, Weave Poles - they're easy. I like walking on the treadmill, and love playing games like "watch me" and "leave it". I don't need a lot of exercise, but I have to have air conditioning (!) and someone that I can talk to and bond with. Oh, and I need to be an "only" dog so I can have all your attention.
