New Leash On Life
We are a private non-profit organization that operates on donations. We are a limited intake facility and accept animals by appointment only. Animals must be healthy and not aggressive in any manner to be accepted into our adoption program. We do not accept or pick up stray animals.
Mission Statement
New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.
Our goals include the following:
·To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need.
·To shelter and provide care for relinquished animals.
·To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation.
·To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.
·To find good homes for the animals in our care.

Adoption Process
Adoption fees include (spay or neuter surgery already done; age appropriate vaccinations; micro-chip with registration):
· Adult dog (1 year and up, over 30 pounds) $85.
· Any small breed dog or puppy (adult size under 30 pounds) $135.
· Adult cats (1 year and up) $85.
· Kittens (under 1 year) $100.
Note: certain purebred cat and dogs have adoption fees that range from $150 to $300.
