Everett Animal Services
Everett Animal Services is an open admission shelter that takes in over 9,000 animals every year. We serve the City of Everett, Snohomish County and several contracted areas within the county. We hold all stray animals for 72 hours to give their owners a chance to reclaim their pets, and adopt out thousands of wonderful companion animals each and every year. We are located in Langus Riverfront park along the banks of the Snohomish River and we invite you to come and view our new facility which opened in April of 2009. We have vibrant volunteer programs for people 13 and over, and a foster care program to help provide temporary in-home care to animals who need a bit more time before being adopted into new, loving and permanent homes.

Adoption Process
We require all adopters to either own their own home or have proof from their landlord that they're able to have an animal in their residence. All animals must be spayed or neutered prior to going home; if the animal is not neutered at the time of adoption, we schedule an appointment to have that procedure performed before the animal goes home to its new family. Adoption fees range from $75 for adult cats to $115 for kittens, and start at $100 for dogs. All fees include the spay or neuter, microchip with registration, first round of vaccinations, one month of free pet health insurance and an FeLV test for all cats. Adopters who live in our licensing area must also buy a license at the time of adoption for an additional $10.
