Peninsula SPCA

We are a private animal shelter that contracts with Hampton, Newport News, York County and Poquoson to house their stray animals. We are closed all major holidays.

Available Pets

Adoption Process

If the animal you are interested in has already been spayed/neutered (all dogs and all cats 8 weeks and older that weigh 2 pounds) all you need a valid pictured ID(either state drivers license or military ID. You pick the animal you are interested in, sign up, do your adoption paper work and take your animal home. Call if you are interested in an underweight kitten because there is a different adoption process/ID requirement.
