Sabine Humane Society, Inc.
The Sabine Humane Society was incorporated in 1997 by Shannon Clements, Kathy Merten, Martha Bass and Tracy Conerly. It was formed to help the abused, deserted, and thrown away animals in Sabine Parish. The Society’s main goal was to build and operate a shelter for that purpose. In October 2010 our brand new facility opened its doors to the public.
