BellyRubs Basset Rescue
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
We are an all volunteer organization providing assistance in finding good homes for abandoned, abused, and/or unwanted Basset Hounds in Tennessee, north Mississippi and eastern Arkansas. The bassets we rescue are brought into the homes of our volunteers where they are evaluated and trained as necessary.
We are a "hands-on rescue" allowing all basset rescues to be part of our families. All rescues are checked by our veterinarians, wormed if needed, brought current on shots, spayed/neutered, and placed on heart worm preventative if heart worm negative. Rescues that are heart worm positive are treated if medically and financially feasible.

Adoption Process
The first step in adopting one of our rescues is to complete an Adoption Application on our primary web site at - http://bellyrubs.org. We have an on-line Adoption Application that will be e-mailed to us OR a printable Adoption Application you can complete and mail to us OR if you need an application mailed to you, please contact us. Once we have received and reviewed your Adoption Application, we will contact you. Sometimes there may be a waiting period in order for us to find the right basset for you and your family.
PLEASE BE PATIENT: We are all volunteers with regular jobs and family in addition to our basset rescue work. We will e-mail or contact you as soon as we can. If you call us and request us to return your call and it is long distance call, please give us permission in your phone message to call you back collect - or - allow us to call you then you call us back.
