Pet Memo

Mater has long red hair with a white chest. 25-30lbs. I've been keeping him inside for the past 6 days, and he has only had two accidents, which I think was my fault anyway for not letting him out often enough. He is very loveable and loves to play. I bought a stuffed animal, a turtle, for him and he loves for me to throw it for him. He always brings it back. He also loves for me to brush his hair and usually falls asleep in my lap while I'm doing it. I'm not sure how he is with children or cats. He is good with my female dog, but I cannot let him around my male dog (he's a bit aggressive to other dogs).

OUR MISSION STATEMENT: Pets Are Worth Saving (PAWS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to: 1. Facilitating the adoption of abandoned companion animals into permanent loving homes. 2. Raising funds to support a low-cost spay/neuter program and TNR Program 3. Establishing a no-kill community for NW Alabama 4. Educating people on the compassionate treatment and care of companion animals PAWS does not have a shelter. We operate entirely out of foster homes. Fostering is an integral part of our organization as it allows us to place dogs, cats, and other abandoned, orphaned, or surrendered animals into loving homes while they wait for a permanent adoptive family.  We provide support and veterinary care. The more foster homes we have, the more animals we are able to save! We do not receive any public funding and depend on donations, adoption fees, and community support to continue saving companion animals from being euthanized.
