Pet Memo
Sweet Belle loves to be around other cats. She has been very shy with people but is making great progress. She will let you hold and pet her. Sweet Belle was rescued as an abandoned six-month old kitten. She would like a calm household and will require some time and patience to reach her full potential.
Shelter Information
Foothills Animal Rescue is committed to compassionate and humane treatment of dogs and cats in need through rescue, shelter, fostering and adoption within Maricopa County.
Foothills Animal Rescue (FAR) was founded in 1995. We are a no-kill 501(c)3 organization that focuses on rescuing and adopting cats and dogs in Maricopa County.
FAR provides education, referrals and resources to the public regarding animal welfare. We intake animals from the public as well as those on euthanasia lists at Maricopa County Animal Care, Control and Arizona Humane Society, when space becomes available at our facility.
FAR welcomes any volunteer that can make a commitment to our mission and assist us in a professional manner to care for the animals while they are at our facility.
FAR maintains a no-kill policy and all animals are cared for until such time as a suitable adoption is arranged. All animals offered for adoption by FAR have been given medical at
