Meet Calypso! She's a sweet kitty looking for her furrrever home! Calypso and her siblings, Armani & Aubrey, were thrown out of a car into a really nice couple's yard who took them all in and they have been working with them to get them to trust humans again. Calypso is a little bit shy but she will come around once she gets to know you. Calypso is spayed, up to date on shots, and FeLeuk/FIV negative. Adoption fee is $75.00.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT: Pets Are Worth Saving (PAWS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to: 1. Facilitating the adoption of abandoned companion animals into permanent loving homes. 2. Raising funds to support a low-cost spay/neuter program and TNR Program 3. Establishing a no-kill community for NW Alabama 4. Educating people on the compassionate treatment and care of companion animals PAWS does not have a shelter. We operate entirely out of foster homes. Fostering is an integral part of our organization as it allows us to place dogs, cats, and other abandoned, orphaned, or surrendered animals into loving homes while they wait for a permanent adoptive family.  We provide support and veterinary care. The more foster homes we have, the more animals we are able to save! We do not receive any public funding and depend on donations, adoption fees, and community support to continue saving companion animals from being euthanized.
